Mama thinks I’ll be good at finances and hedge
funds when I grow up. As you know, I’m
very attached to Doggie, who came into our lives after Lambie
(tears, sigh) left our lives. She gets
quite dirty sometimes (although Mama and Daddy-Ray have finally persuaded me to
let Mama wash her on a weekly basis). So,
with the baby in our lives and the general desire to keep life sanitary,
Daddy-Ray bet me $60 that I couldn’t go from the beginning of school until
Thanksgiving with Doggie at my father’s house. Actually, he bet me generally and I decided I
wanted money on the bet. Well, yesterday
about 1 hour after the start of the bet, I realized I wasn’t going to make it. I called up my father, told him I needed
Doggie, and confessed about the bet I had made. He said:
“You don’t even have $60 to bet!”
My quick retort? “Wanna bet $100 that
I do!?” I’m so funny.
