looking at this photo:

said: “Is that me or Emma?”
Mama
answered: “That’s you.”
She
giggled, then said, “Oh, yeah. That’s
right. That’s ‘cause daddy loves me
best.”

She’s
eating some peanut butter noodles Mom made for lunch. She says:
“Mmmmm. These are
more delicious than playing!”

This from
last week which I forgot about until just now when Kiana
and Sophia reminded me of these (Kiana became
vegetarian, or pescatarian over the summer)
Julia: Is lettuce vegetarian?
Mom: Yes.
Julia: Are hamburgers vegetarian?
Mom: No, they’re meat.
Julia: Yes they are because there’s lettuce on it.

Sophia: Emma’s so cute.
Julia: Yeah.
Emma: No! I’m beautiful.
Sophia: (laughter) – ha ha ha.
Julia: Imitating laughter (sounding exactly
like Sophia)
Sophia: throwing her head back in an
exaggerated laughter
Julia: Imitating exactly the same
Okay, this
one isn’t as funny on paper. But Sophia
assures me it was very funny in person if you had seen it.
