Mama decided now that 1) Daddy is moved into his new house, 2) I'm feeling more back to normal in a home with Daddy, 3) our guests have all left, and 4) It's just Mama out home with me and Emma, it's time to take off the diaper. I wore big girl underwear, soaked them a few times as Mommy thought she'd start at 2 hour intervals. She switched to 30 minute intervals and with the help of babysitter Rachel who worked with Mom and me, presto, I did it!*

Busia, DziaDzia and Daddy spent July 4 moving into our new house. Mama has been holed up in her office since February and I hardly ever see her. She didn't even unpack a single thing outside of her office. She works on a tiny laptop she has borrowed from Daddy and there's paper, binders, and stuff all over the place. I wish she wasn't working so hard but she seems like she has an important purpose and I trust that she loves all of us (and she looks beautiful even when she's bleary-eyed and teary-eyed and doesn't seem to be sleeping much). Mama also takes some time to make me look beautiful (see my cute hairdo below and the kerchief which Daddy calls my Polish look).

*PS - it's now November and Mama is proud to say that it really just took one and a half days and there have been no wet diapers or underwear ever since!
